The work of the Gambella Anglican Centre, empowerment through education, partnership and discipleship, requires necessary infrastructure. Infrastructure needs include the provision of adequate water, security and teaching facilities.
The work of the Gambella Anglican Centre is to empower leaders in the church to serve their communities. The center provides theological education through the Saint Frumentius’ Anglican Theological College. The Centre provides a place to ‘equip the saints for ministry’ in health education, nutritional/agricultural education, literacy, bible translation, outreach and service to the community.
The Gambella Anglican Center does not have adequate water or facilities to serve those it teaches. The St. Frumentius’ Anglican Theological College is growing to include future incoming classes which will require separate classrooms for first, second and third year students, in addition to the space needed for our other training programs. The completion of the Nehemiah Wall around the Gambella Anglican Centre is essential to provide adequate security, a need which has become critical in the Gambella People’s Region.
