Grace Connection is a nonprofit organization (NGO) located in the Vallée de Manionzi within the municipality of Mont-Ngafula, a remote suburb of Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). The organization operates on 17 hectares of land dedicated to community development and sustainability.
Donation Goal of $33,000
Our Mission
Grace Connection is committed to empowering local communities through agriculture, aquaculture, farming, and education. The land’s rich soil and natural water sources from a nearby river provide ideal conditions for sustainable farming, fish culture, poultry, and pig farming.
Our mission is to enhance self-sufficiency by initiating and supporting mini-projects that allow local families to generate income, secure education for their children, and access primary healthcare.
Our Story
Our journey began as a family of four children who immigrated to South Africa over 30 years ago. In 2017, under a family reunification program, our parents joined two of our children who had recently relocated to Canada.
While attending Midland Alliance Church, we felt a deep calling to support our communities back in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). This vision led to a 2018 trip to Kinshasa, where we launched initiatives to provide financial assistance, educational support, and skill development programs for people in need.
