  • Complete your Lead Member Orientation – [su_button url=”https://member.devxchange.org/course/orientation-lead-members/” target=”blank” background=”#257e09″] Lead Member Orientation[/su_button]
  • Your login information for the members site that orientation is on would be emailed to you directly from a staff member. If you are unsure of your login information, please feel free to email [email protected]

2. Update Your Campaign Page

  • Your campaign page is located on our main website, www.Devxchange.org
  • This would be emailed to you by a staff member, please note this login is different from your Members site login
  • Please update or add the following if you have not already done so
    • A photo of you
    • A small bio of you
    • A summary description of the project
    • A full description of the project
    • The background of the project
    • Your goal for the year described, how you intend on spending your goal amount.
    • A feature photo
    • Additional photos to be inserted with the description on the campaign page
  • For more help on how to edit your campaign page see Edit Campaign Page in our knowledge base

3. Your Members Site Profile with Important Links

  • Once you’ve logged into the members site, if you click on your profile in the top right hand corner you will see a list of links only you can see when logged in. Those important links are:
    • Dashboard Link – this takes you to a dashboard that is an overview of you current available funds that are available to send to your project, open requests, transfer history and reporting status.
    • Documents – this is your original proposal and any budgets submitted.
    • Financial Reports – This is updated monthly with your donation summary for the previous month.

4. Our Knowledge Base

5. Slack

  • We will create you your own private channel for us to discuss your needs for your project as you are onboarding. Once you are confident in our processes you wont likely need it as much but its a nice lifeline to a staff member if you need it. All official requests should still go through our help requests process.

6. Start Fundraising

As a lead member you can access a variety of support tools to help with your fundraising plan.

  • Volunteers for graphic design, social media, basic administration, web maintenance, grant writers, and appeal writers. If you need a volunteer for something else, please reach out and let us know so we can try and help get you a volunteer!
  • Fundraising Coaches – ask a fundraising expert for advice on your upcoming virtual event, auction, presentation, fundraiser, etc and get some additional help for your efforts.
