Description

Training of model farmers in North Shoa Ethiopia has been key for improving income of local communities. Model farmers are trained in techniques of agro-forestry. They learn techniques of grafting to improve quality and variety of fruit. They are taught value of trees and see how it can increase their income by ten fold or more. One model farmer can train 10 more once they become successful.
