The buildings name is called, The House of Hope

It will be a place where people can find new hope, a lighthouse in the dark city of Cairo- a community house where fellowship is lived, - hosting outreach teams from within YWAM but also from different churches and organizations from all over the world who are working among different people groups , a safe oasis to host guests from various organizations from all over the world who are working among Egyptians, Sudanese, and unreached people groups. It will be a prayer house where people from the nations are praying for the nations and from where people will be sent out into the Arab world. The building will also be used as a training center where we run different schools for multiplication and educate workers and the next generation.

The background of the project

Egypt is a very strategic Islamic country in North Africa and the Arab world where Islam is the religion, both of the State and of the overwhelming majority of the population. It has more than 7000 mosques and has a great influence in the surrounding Arab and Moslem World. The building to be purchased is in very good, safe and central location easy to access for many with a metro close by. The purchase of the building with be a huge asset to implement YWAM’s Vision giving stability to the different ministries and the growing staff members. YWAM in Egypt is officially working under the umbrella of the Fellowship of the Evangelicals and the General Council of the Evangelical Denomination in Egypt.

Our goal and how we intend to use your support

The funds raised will go directly towards the purchase of the building.

About The Project Lead Member

Along with his wife Sharon and young family, Ron started working with YWAM in 1988 and traveled to various locations with medical teams. He now serves part time with YWAM - Kona Hawaii. Ron is very familar with international missions participating with a variety of non profit organizations.
