The Canadian government in Canada is planning to spend billions of dollars planting trees in Canada at a cost of $1.60 per tree. That is hundreds of times more expensive per tree than our project in Ethiopia. In addition the planting of trees in Ethiopia is not only changing the environment but improving the lives of people because many of the trees are fruit trees which provide nutrition and income for families.
