Tesfa provides the children with all their basic needs, guidance, psychological and medical care, safety, a family and most importantly love. This past summer, Mothers with a Heart for Ethiopia donated a library to the shelter. There is no local public library and schools have very limited books and a lending system that is very restrictive. The children at Tesfa’s Shelter now have books they can access any time to help them in school (resource books), develop their imaginations, open their world and strengthen their reading skills.
